We back with another NMF everyone! Happy friday, so sorry there wasn’t one last weekend. It was my birthday weekend so I completely wanted to wait until this Friday to bring a whole list of bangers!
These guys are my favourite artists right now, Higher Brothers released their new EP “Journey To The West” and if you are going to the Toronto show next month (February 25th) catch your girl there! I’ll be there turning up to Flo Rida. The EP consists of 4 tracks, features Ski Mask the Slump God on 2 tracks and this EP goes so hard. I can’t wait to see Higher Brothers live, let me know through my Instagram https://streetwearchick.com/cigarette-tax-stamp-dating/if you are going! Check out the EP below.
Another of my favourite artist Kris Wu has teamed up with Rich Brian, Trippie Redd, Joji and Baauer to drop a banger “18“. 88Rising as a whole has been really bringing it to the table since they launched, 2018 they aren’t playing games and 88’s artists are here to make sure of it. Check it out below
SiR is back with more new music and releases his debut album “November” with a total of 11 new tracks. I discovered SiR through one of my friends last year and I have been in love with his music since. TDE’s underground artist has been cooking up SAUCE ever since i discovered him, this album is a bannger. Something Foreign (ft. Schoolboy Q) has so far been my favourite R&B hits of 2018, more to come however. Check out his new album as well as his other music available on Spotify.
Ric Flair Drip was one of my favourite hiphop bangers of 2017, Tyga is here to put his mix onto it on “Dubai Drip” and this is straight fire. The rapper goes in for under three minutes with straight bars and takes no breathers the whole time. Also calling out Lil Pump, The beat of the original song actually did remind me of something Tyga would do or at least remind me of his old stuff back in 2012 with “Careless World : Rise of the Last King” Check out the fire remix below.
The hood pope himself is back with another track to start this year off “Family“. A$AP Ferg absolutely murked his year with his recently release “Still Striving” with hit song, Plain Jane. (P.S if you are going to the Toronto show on April 9th make sure you catch me there as well!) This song was a collaboration with one of my favourite liquor, Hennessy. This song is based on a reflection of his family over his laid back flow to a very relaxed beat, check it out below.
Last year, Gucci Mane came out strong with his releases and one of my favourite songs by him that he released last year was “I Get The Bag” featuring the star rising trio, Migos. Young M.A herself had to put her flames onto the song with her remix to “I Get The Bag” and let me tell you, Young MA brought it to the table with this one. Her freestyle was hypeleen approved, she really ate this s**t. Check it out below.
Personally, Rejjie Snow is underrated. People are sleeping on him and he’s back with a 4 tracked EP “Dear Annie : Part 1” and this is the groovy stuff i’d get down too. Only feature that is on this album is rapper Animé, first track starts off with the rapper and it has that vibe Schoolboy Q would get on. Check out the EP below.
21 Savage will forever be one of the artists that’ll make me hype. With his new release featuring Metro Boomin’. “Pause” This was one of the more anticipated songs since this song was first heard back in 2015 when Savage Mode was still in the making but unfortunately this song that make the cut. So while the song has been pretty much an after thought ever since and presumed to be lost in the archives, WSHH comes through earlier this month and resurfaces the record in its entirety for our listening pleasure. Check it out below.
Bhad Bhabie’s song Hi Bich slaps in my opinion, and she’s back with a remix featuring YBN Nahmir, Rich The Kid, Asian Doll and let me say, this song slaps even more than the original. Hi Bich is a banger to me. The simple beat and loud bass makes this song lit for me, check out the fire remix below.
Finally, want to give a huge shoutout to my boy Apollo Loco for releasing his new single “COMMAS” this past week, please go support and check out the video and the song on Spotify! You will not be dissapointed.
I think that’s all for this NMF, what a long line up! What did you think of this week’s NMF? Let us know below!!!
