NBA All-Star weekend made its way to LA and the festivities were to die for! Being LA natives, we could feel the buzz and energy that came with our city hosting one of the most anticipated weekends of the year. With All-Star weekend in the city of angels, there was no doubt of an influx of crazy cool events and parties for every single person celebrating this weekend. From a pop-up shop at Undefeated dedicated to the goat Kobe, to the Adidas party that had all your favorite celebs and influencers partying the night away, it for sure was a weekend to remember. Needless to say, this All-Star weekend was one for the books.
Nike x Revolve
To get into the All-Star spirit, we went to Revolve’s pop-up shop held at the Revolve Social Club on Melrose Avenue. The pop-up celebrated All-Star weekend by featuring Nike’s The 1 Reimagined collection. From the cute flower wall to the hip rooftop, everything about the Nike x Revolve pop-up screamed trendy and IG worthy.
The Reimagined collection was featured in unique installations. Our favorite was definitely “The Explorers” section because of all the tropical vibes. The installation featured Air Jordan 1 Explorer XX Convertible High Top Sneaker and the Air Force 1 Explorer XX, which we actually copped! Along with a shoe purchase, customers got a customizable tote bag and a jersey.
Kith LA
Along with the Nike x Revolve pop-up shop, we were able to visit the brand new Kith store on Sunset Blvd! Ronnie Fieg and the Kith team did such a great job with the new store and made themselves right at home on the West Coast. No doubt the main attraction of the Kith opening was LeBron James unveiling his brand new Kith x Nike kicks, but honestly we were more excited for Kith Treats finally being in LA 🙂 The whole vibe of the store gave us high-end with a mix of plant realness. We plan on visiting the store again very soon to get some treats and maybe even some Kith swag.
We had such a great time last weekend and we wish all star weekend could be in LA every year ;).
